The metro area of Dallas is extremely affordable and a great place for singles, families and career-minded individuals. Many internationally renown chefs have established restaurants here. True, Dallas is known for its barbecue. But the city is also home to a wide variety of regional and cultural cuisines, with more restaurants per capita than New York City.
